Oh City

Sometimes I just find myself wishing I had easier access to a City. So, in honor of missing the city :) I thought I'd post a few pictures I have taken in the past of San Fransisco and Portland.

I really need to make a trip back to San Fransisco at some point. Without my Dad there I'm sure it's not going to happen as often as I'd like.

Oh San Fransisco - I sure do miss you.

Long Weekend

Tom and I are currently in the process of fixing up the house!!! This weekend happened to be the bathroom. Not wanting to live without a bathroom I headed out to visit ms. Audrey in the desert. :)

We decided to go to Delta on Friday so Audrey could get some lumber for a sign. I haven't driven on that road in quite a while..
Anyways, fortunately for me we were able to stop and get my favorite Cheeseburger and of course the best fries at Barry's.... LEos?.. I don't know what it's called now but their food is just delicious and to make you all jealous I posted a picture. :P

And now to gross you out with a picture! We finished the weekend with watching Nora (Audrey's cat) have her first batch of little kittens. They are ADORABLE!! Most of them were Callico so lots of girls for Audrey - lol

Now, I need to take some pictures of the house. We will finally make it livable right as we have to leave it.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Snow?.. really

Today is May 18th. Should be spring - matter of fact I have an outside work party today at the park..... and this what is looks like out my window
All I want to be doing is reading a book, having my coffee and listening to Agnes Obel (who is my latest obsession)
This is what's on re-peat for me today.

5K April 30th

Well I have already written about the 5k, but I went and stole these pictures from Janille's Blog.
Once again I am glad we did it and hope to keep up with it.

Group picture above. Just the coolest people ever really....
lol - I love this picture (above) we look like we are lining up for a race.
The after picture. It kind of looks like a moron pinned my number to my shirt... oh wait, that was me.
Apparently that stupid cow mascot kept kneeing Rose in the back. you can even see him going for it in the picture. Why were there cows there again?....

As for the next race.... hope to see all you lovely ladies there.
Thanks for the pics Janille - hope that was o.k. I stole then and then put them on my blog. :)

1st camping of the year

Every year around Aaron Williams's birthday we try to go out to "Oak Grove". This year our group has dwindled down to just the three of us. It was perfect weather and we were lucky enough to get our "usual" camp spot that has access to a creek.
This is the view - I believe we are looking into Pine Valley.

Emma wasn't so sure about the water so she mostly hung around my shoes and took naps.
Aaron made a necklace out of the reeds from the stream - how creative. :)
The biggest and most ridiculous marshmallows you have ever seen. Just ridiculous!

All the flowers were blooming

A lovely Thursday Day

It is an absolutely lovey Thursday - the weather is in the 70's! Kiah took me to lunch at the Pastry Pub and we ate outside, which was just wonderful. I'm so very ready for summer- tank tops, flip flops, swimming... you get the idea. yummm... pastry pub..

Last weekend we went to Salt Lake City for a 5k. I was so so happy that everybody came! I of course did not take any pictures and face book won't allow me to steal them from Janille :( I ended up being very glad we did the 5k. Rose and I trained a little bit (not as much as we should have ;) ) and we didn't do half bad. I will admit to feeling near death when I saw the finish line.. However, I am now feeling a little motivated to keep up with jogging and beat my time for the next 5k until I can work my way up to a 10k.

On a side note I got my hair did! As usual Dana did just a fantabulous job. I love going to her, I don't even really need that much of an idea of what I want. She flips my hair up and say's, "lets do this!" and away we go. What was especially Super Fun this time was, to add a little funky-ness, we put a feather in my hair. Yes, I know... mostly it is small children that are putting feathers in their hair but I love it!! I kind of want to put some hippie clothes on and go to a music festival.

P.s. - yes, I just am barely figuring out how to post photos from my phone to my blog. Now I have blogging at my fingertips! :) beware of many random and possibly pointless blogs.

Have a Fantastic and Beautiful warm weekend everyone.
